Ted Ax Denver That's what happens when old dudes have too much time. Maybe my criticisms are just iPhone related, but if so, they might be worth fixing as many younger people are migrating to a phone-does-everything lifestyle, I think. My complaints are meant to be genuinely constructive as my over-all impression of your company is SO positive! The products and people there seem awesome to the point that I wish I worked there. I concede that maybe I'm just too old and stupid for modern on-line ordering of products, but with most websites I always get it done without TOO much trouble, not so on this one. On a second order that I attempted to place though, I again got great information on the phone, but when I went to my now-formed Evike "account" to place the order, the password process went in to such a loop that I finally just gave up and ordered the stuff on eBay. Ultimately, I was able to take the information from my call and place the order. I've called twice now and BOTH of the guys who got stuck talking with me were SO knowledgeable and helpful! I was able to figure out what all to order confidently with the help I received, part numbers and all, as well as insight in to what I was buying! Also, the product (Sterling AEG and accessories) once received was AWESOME, and I've been having a really great time with it! I hate to leave this on a sour note by going back to the "bad" but sadly, I couldn't place the order by phone as apparently the company won't take credit card information that way. ![]() The GOOD: I finally just called the phone number to make my order. That said, my wife is software engineer and found it pretty bad as well. I also found the process for placing an order difficult. Mostly I'm referring to the way zooming up on pictures and moving around on them causes them to dance around and go in opposite directions, etc. The first time I visited it, it was so bad I gave up on it assuming it was a scam. Let me start off with the negative: On an iPhone at least, and maybe other devices, the Evike website is terrible and behaves very "bugish". ![]()
